So that's;

30,000 twats at Stamford Bridge, will make more noise than the variety of fans that will make up the 50,000 season tickets holders in Olympic Stadium. By variety I mean mates of mine who support Orient, Chelsea and Arsenal who have all bought tickets for them and their kids.

Ha! Seems odd why we can't attract these players, I thought that was going to be the main benefit of moving??

"Liverpool need a striker they go and buy mane from southampton"

Someone should tell them they've bought a winger.

Re: Batshuayi definitely leaving Marseille this summer
Liverpool need a striker they go and buy mane from southampton. Chelsea want another monopoly player, they go and buy batman. West ham want a striker and spend weeks negotiating deals to lose out cause they wont pay the market value, good reason to be knicker wetting with our striker recruitment policy. Its the same with this tore fella, if u want him just go and fucking buy him and stop pissing about for a million here or there, thats why we are failing to attract good strikers and they want to play for clubs that are willing to pay to get them

Heard he loves real football stadia... would have jumped on board if we was still at the Boleyn...

Re: Batshuayi definitely leaving Marseille this summer
I dont care about chelsea anyways. Our owners have mucked up this deal and at this rate we will end up with a cheap gamble seen as 'value for money' cause our owners love all the money they are making from the olympic stadium move and dont want to spend it in the club. We will end up with a has been and not progress at all next year. I am sure i wont be proved wrong

Re: Batshuayi definitely leaving Marseille this summer
Chelsea are to blame for this. They wanted him ages ago - it was reported in the papers they were interested. They were always likely to get him over the likes of us, and to a greater extent Crystal fucking Palace, who I was told earlier was the way we should be conducting transfer bids.

Re: Batshuayi definitely leaving Marseille this summer
With all their players out on loan i see chelsea plays more of a monoploy game because they can. The owners are to blame for this, they have been looking at this guy for probably at least a year but they left it late cause they are penny pinchers despite all this money they are making from the sale of upton park etc.

Do you honestly think that Chelsea, with all their staff, have been spontaneous with this transfer?

I'd lay money that they had been eyeing Batshuayi long before they put in a bid (which we seemed to have matched at the same time).

grasshopper 3:42 Wed Jun 29
Re: Batshuayi definitely leaving Marseille this summer
I blame the owners for this. Fucking around with low bids giving the competition more chance to come in under our noses. If u want a player, have a budget and go for it. Telling the media we have this much to spend on strikers bla bla bla has cost us here only our management to blame for this transfer failing. Watch as they get desperate and pay over the odds for benteke and hail him as a huge coup. Absolute joke, no wonder he doesnt want to come to us

We bid 39m euro Batshuayi and it was accepted yesterday by his club, but he chose another PL club ahead of us, Chelsea ?

Re: Batshuayi definitely leaving Marseille this summer
Arguably we already found a "hidden gem the cheaper way" in Sakho, who most of us loved a matter of months ago. Give the guy a cake and a rise and get him out there playing.
